『オーィ、………*』　　鰹を味噌焼きにすると、ホクホクと魚らしい旨味が際だつことを知った。　　八百屋で青匂いリンゴが次第に大きくなり、紅顔になっていくのを見るのが、ささやかな愉しみである。　　この世の生物とは信じ難い色の、アケビには驚く。　　灰色がかったパステルブルー、ツルツルした歪んだ球体、毎年ドキリッ！とさせられる。　　四万十川の沈下橋（潜水橋）を見ると、『カラ…*ン』と踏み外し、降下する爽快のイメージから逃れられない。　

♭♪ (*^.^*) ：　Archie Shepp 0 1 2 3 4 5/ Kwanza 　♪　♪　♪ : 　　　　Back Back（5:45）、ダンス風、明快なファンキー風リズム、合奏で生き生きと演奏、ブローイングのユニゾンを繰り返す。　　Spoo Pee Doo（2:37）、短い曲、特異なスタイルのゴスペル風ボーカル、コーラス。　　New Africa（12:49）、大きくうねり脈打つポリリズム多くの楽器が自発的美の秩序をめざしつつ鮮やかな色彩を放つ、合奏は大艦隊を想わせる。　　リード（Archie Shepp:Ts）がそろりそろりと吹き上げる、ボーカルが訴えを発表する。　　『……フゥル！、ララ…*』　　部厚いアンサンブルは、内包する思惟を高めたまましたたかに推進する。　　あちこちで火の手が上がる、岩山の裂け目から熱い噴出が起こり、閃光が尾根を駆けめぐる。　　成就されることなくフェイドフェイドアウト。　　Slow Drag（10:08）、ファンキーブルース、歯切れの鮮やかなユニゾンで始まる、ホーンとピアノが明快に導き闊達な展開を披露、リードが嘶きで進行を奪回する、リズムは微妙に揺れ動き苦悩を露呈する。　　ぶっといブローイングでピアノが難しい展開を見せる、どうやらドラムがリズムを破棄してるらしい、ブラスユニゾンでリズムを辛うじて維持しつつ脇道に皆我先に退散。　　Bakai（9:57）、めまぐるしく激しくリズムが変容するユニゾンで始まる、下半身を揺さぶる妖しい・危ういクンビア風リズム、リード（Archie Shepp:Ts）の幽玄・思惟の極まった咆哮は実に美しい、津波のように聳えつつ押し寄せる対位法的ラテン風ビート、機関車のような息使いの迫り来る動機、ホーンの諦めたなびく放射、嘆きのヴォイス『ナ……ｧ～ア』、新しい瞠目の感動に襲われ、あっけなく没す。　　A.
