竹林が静かに波打ち、体を捩り騒いでいた。　　太陽風が南に横たわる丘陵を乗り越え、田んぼや雑木林を吹き荒れていた。　　じわじわと万障を灼き始めている。　　紫外線の攻撃を受けた唇と顔、カサカサ、ヒリヒリする。　　大ぶりのナスをグリルで焼く。　　４面に焦げ目が付くよう間合いを図り、ひっくり返す。　　さっと表面を水で冷やし、へたを切り落として皮を剥ぐ。　　面倒！で難しい、そして面白い！、うまく出来ると前途までが開けたような嬉しい気分。　　焼け具合に応じた剥きかたをする。
