サルトリイバラ、クロモジ、ツタの連なる樹木の下。　　形と色がぼんやりとなってしまう曇りガラス戸に、野生の気配。　　白に黒斑点の毛に覆われ、口元に気まぐれで付いた黒い斑点、鼻がくすぐったいのでは、……？。　　しなやかな四肢を延ばし後ろ足で跳ねたり、素速く突進し両手で宝物を押さえ込んだり首を振ったり、木によじ登ぼる真似をして、愉しみな無限の時間を呼吸。　　ごく近くまで来る、きちんと距離を保ちひげを“ピリピリ”振るわせ、親が食べ終わるまで大人しく待つ。
