短い竹の延べ竿で、軽くヒョイッ！と投げれば容易く食いついてきた。　　たくさん釣る喜びに夢中なり、あっという間に、持ってきたザリガニは無くなりおしまい。　　たくさん釣れ七輪で焼いてみんなでたくさん食べた。　　めずらしく好評なのに気をよくし、また出掛けたが間もなく"そっくりの可愛い"のは姿を消した。　　”浅い池”の水位が変わりすっかり浅くなってしまい、失意のあまり遠ざかっていった。
