夜の部を始めて１時間も経たないうちに『……もう帰ろう…、潮が…だめや！』と頼んだ、『黒鯛を釣るんや！、それまでわ……』と、頑として譲らない。　　黙って釣り用の長靴、ぱんぱんの防寒具を着込んだまま、泣きながら窓に顔を押しつけて電車（モノレール）で帰って来てしまった。　　翌日、夜ドアをドンドン強く叩く者があり、不安を抱えながら顔を出すと『いるか～……！？。　　だ～～め、だよぉ～………、黙って帰ったら……！。』と、陽に焼けた無精ひげでどかどか入り込み、笑顔で車中に置き去りにした釣り道具やらを、部屋に放り込んでくれた。　　『……！』
