最近見つけて気に入っているハーツロメインレタスとパプリカ、トマト（よく研いだナイフで皮を必ず剥いたやつ）を適当に切り、赤いタマネギをスライスして、ボールに張った水に浸し灰汁を抜く。　　水を切りマヨネーズを和える、それだけのサラダである。　　いつものとおり茶筒擦り切りの米を網籠に入れ、蛇口のシャワーを最強に浴びせながら力を込めて激しく揺する。　　しばらくすると米が吸水してグット手首に反動がかかり重く感じる、水分を吸ったのである。
