夜更けに空中テーブルで、『カリッ！、コリッ！、…！、…！』生き物の起てる特有の活性音がする。　　先ほどふらっ…＊と、夜の散歩に出かけて往ったチビちゃんかな？！、と思って窓を開けたら、大きな白に茶と黒の丸模様を、絶妙の塩梅で散らした”オコジョ”であった。　　丸い目をキラキラさせ口を突き出し、中に身を乗り出してきた。　　首と背を揉んであげた。　　澄明な目を瞬き『ミャ～ァ』と小さく言った。　　大好きな太くて長い海へびのだんだら模様の尻尾を振っ た。　　さらにオコジョとそっくりの”白と茶と黒の丸模様を絶妙”がやってきて、木の枝に乗かって優しい顔で見る。

♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ：　Archie Shepp 0 1 2 3 4/ There's a Trumpet in My Soul/ 32JDF-166/ JAZZ　♪　♪　　　ジャケットは、爛熟の麦畑を想像させる枯れ草色。　　マイケル・クスクーナのプロデュース。　　交響詩風のひとつの大きなまとまりがあり、たちまちいい緊張感と期待感に包んでくれる。　　なんとも心地良い新境地へ踏み込んだよろこび、新鮮な意気込み・鋭意、そしてどこか吹っ切れたゆとり・リラックスを感じる。　　There's a Trumpet in My Soul、Samba da Rua、Zaid, Pt.1、Down in Brazil、Zaid, Pt.2、It Is the Year of the Rabbit、Zaid, Pt.3 の6曲からなる組曲。　　メゾソプラノの朗々とした吐露で始まる、とても印象的で妙なる美しさがたなびく、ギターの助奏が絶妙の色彩を放ち、情熱を弾けさせる。　　既にメラメラと炎はその兆候を覗かせ、チャンスを伺っている。　　テナーサックスが主題を滔々と提出、打弦は静思しつつ追尾しつつ煽情する。　　アクセルとエンジンブレーキを同時に稼働、激しい摩擦・発熱、絶叫・悲鳴。　　解き放たれ、颯爽と走り出す、トロンボーンがヨロコビつつフェイドアウト。　　ホーンと長弦のブン・ブン・ユニゾンで新しい主題が明確に大上段から振り下ろされる。　　ぶっといボーカルに粘り着くリード目眩く幻惑の激越。　　天上的な疾走・脱走のテーマが、卓抜な名手で入れ替わり、次々に発表される。　　すばらしいぃ憧れの賛歌・肯定のオブリガート、ホーンが抜き出し独奏・独走。　　トロンボーンが悠々として急ぐ、長弦が倦まず酸素を搬送し続ける。　　あたりは一面、薄黄橙の、はなはだ明るすぎる大海。　　静穏な乾いた燃え立つ、緩やかなうねりの丘陵。　　“ゴッホ”の麦畑、早くここから逃げ出さなければ…、待って！、…＊。　　詩の朗読、リードの幻惑、長弦のボトボトした喚起・唆しをうそぶく。　　何を想い・感じたか何時しか脇道からそっと帰宅、後ろ姿はあっという間に消滅。　　A.
