傾いだ黒い幹が数え切れないほど屹立、連なる濃い緑の帯を見つける。　　これをめざし、揚々と意欲を掻き立て、突き進む。　　道から畑に入り、つま先上がりの 土の崖をよじ登り、突っきって真っ直ぐ体を運ぶ。　　心は先に全てが解け合う遙か彼方にある。　　傾いだ黒い幹の向こうに、ちらちら・キラキラ光輝が漂う、眩しいたっぷりの水面が視界に飛び込んでくる。　　斜上から差し込む光、冬陽が額に眩しい。　　妙に明るい松林の中で迷子になり、くるりっ！と地球が一回転。

♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ：　Jackie McLean 1 2 3/ Let Freedom Ring　♪　♫ : 　　　　新しいスタイルを果敢に模索している、内省に向かうそれは混沌とした跳躍運動。　　Melody For Melonae（13:24）、大上段に振りかぶり見えを切るようなテーマはとても印象的、一転なんとも小気味よい展開。　　颯爽と駆け出すJ.McLeanはとても高いトーンで雄叫びをあげ、なんだか苦悩しているようだ。　　何かに憑かれたようにひたすらテンションを維持、パワフルなブローイングをタップリ存分に続ける。　　W.Davis Jr.（P）の長い入念なソロも実に新鮮な演奏。　　I'll Keep Loving You（6:18）、ゆっくりしたバラード、滔々と内面を吐露するようなJ.McLean、やはり演奏スタイルの探求の苦悩に翻弄されている様子。　　とても寂しそうに静かに終わる。　　Rene（10:03）、ユーモア溢れるテーマが恭しく提出される。　　とても快活に内省的な美の構築に勤しんでいるようだ。　　強風に煽られた凧の糸を、追いかけている様子を想わせる。　　上下に揺さぶるような息継ぎは、どうしてもO.コールマンのスタイルを想わせる。　　W.Davis Jr.（P）共々、捨て台詞を吐いて終わる。　　Omega（8:29）、巨大なモノリスのように聳え立ち、立ちはだかる大胆なテーマに取り組んでおるようだ。　　超越的意欲は焦ることなく、倦むことなく生み出されているようだ。　　J.
