これを忘れさせ、真に癒やしてくれるものは、見あたらない。　　きっと明日の釣行を決した夜、超越的意欲でパンパンになり弾けそうになる朝までは。　　勝利の感慨などはもとより皆無、衝動・反射に突き動かされ、嘗ての甘美な記憶に唆された行いなんだ。　　戯れなんだ・動機は単純なのだ！と、反省するばかり。　　持って帰り、捌き美味しくいただけば、魂は救済される！？、そんな借り物の気持ちはとうてい起こらない。　　周到な計画・準備にも、ワク！～＊、ワク！～＊したのだから・確信犯なのだからと。

♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ：　Jackie McLean 1 2 3/ Strange Blues　♪　♪ : 　　　　演奏メンバーは3とおりあり、リズム部門も（P）、（B）、（Ds）それぞれ3人。　　Ray Draper（Tub）が珍しく、このアルバムの特徴。　　とつとつと開始され、素朴なサウンドに感心する暇もなく、目眩くフレーズの洪水にビックリする。　　チャーリー・パーカーの影響を大きく受けているが、言いよどんだような臆する感興の吐露は、全く独自のもの。　　一度耳にすると、忘れられない甘いメロディー・フレーズの噴出。　　子供が拗ねて、駄々をこねているようにも、田舎のおばあちゃんにお強請りをしているようにも、学校の帰り明日の釣行の相談をしているようにも、めいめいが楽しい場面を想像できる。　　個にして普遍、サウンドと臆する感興は個性的、明るいヨロコビに溢れかえった印象は世界・民族・言語を越えた魅力を発揮する。　　Strange Blues（7:32）、大股歩きのベースの先導、ビリビリ打ち震え迸るリードのエモーション、甘い高音・粘りつくフレーズ・臆するようなブローイング。　　M.Waldronのピアノは点描的、渋くて嗄れくすんだ良い音色。　　Millie's Pad（11:15）、R.Draper（Tub）がシンプルなテーマ繰りかえし、ホーンが枯れた良い味わいの叙情を放射。　　リードは気持ちよく思いっきりブローイング、件のスタイルを辺り中にいっぱい撒き散らす。　　R.Draper（Tub）が展開するが、頬を膨らませたとても微笑ましい、見たことのない演奏光景が浮かんでしまう。　　Jazz的な匂い・腹の据わった全世界を睥睨する・地平を見据えるような情念が殆ど感じられず、不思議と学園祭などのヨロコビ先行バンドを想像してしまう。　　What's New?（6:35）、親しみやすい有名なメロディーをリードがとても滑らかにダイナミックな構成、流麗に粘りつくような息遣いで、目眩く速さも交え卓抜な巧さでブローイング。　　Disciples Love Affair（6:49）、R.Draper（Tub）とリードがテーマを提示、互いに反射・呼応しながら開始。　　R.Draper（Tub）のとても巧みな想わず聞き惚れる良い演奏があり、とても満足。　　リードは眼の覚めるような、鮮やかな鋭気漲るブローイング。　　さらにホーン、打弦とソロオーダーが巡る。　　合奏で味わい深い響きを聴かせ、ドラムのソロで昂揚し見事に完。　　Not So Strange Blues（4:49）、内省的な陰影・思惟のそよぎがとても美しいリードとベースで開始。　　肩の力の抜けた、吹っ切れた感じと、迸る情念の燦めきの混沌としたところがすばらしい！。　　そして、あっけなく尻切れ蜻蛉で終わる。　　J.
