この"頑丈な橋"の下流の北側は整った崖が真っ直ぐ長く西に延び、途切れて葦の群原に変わる所までずっと好ポイントが続く。　　足場が平坦で高さもあり、鯊の警戒心が希薄、投げずに足元に落とすだけでも良く釣れた。　　すっかり気に入り夢中になって、同じポイントに通った。　　南側は更に高い急峻な崖の上から、ほぼ真下に竿を出した。　　大きな沈み石の多いポイントで、自ずと考え事をしながらの待ち釣り的に過ごした。
